Wildlife & Nature at 'Bridges of Whitestone'

Wildlife and nature are abundant at our resort. In the fall, the deer graze freely. In the spring you will see many animals on the side of the roadways so please drive with caution. We have an incredible bird population and you will see many varieties and a mixture. Just a short jaunt down the road, you are apt to see a moose family, perhaps even the bear!

Please don't feed the animals! Please DO NOT, leave any food sources including fish cleanings where it is possible to attract our wildlife. Contact one of us and we will be happy to remove your garbage for you!

Please recycle whenever possible. Being green means we continue to have our nature family amongst us. We ask that you abide by the MNR outlines and rules for fishing. Please don't introduce bait into our waters that are not residents. Unless you plan to eat your fish, we would appreciate you taking the catch and release option, especially if you hook one of our old granddaddies that has managed to escape for years and years!

Take lots of pictures! Please feel free to share them with us as we plan on creating a newsletter for our cottagers!
